Book Club Buzz: Dooble

(c) Dooble
Lately I've been trying to start up a book club. Yes, yes, I know that this is NYC and I could join a million already existing book clubs - but I've never really been a fan of hopping into an already established group. Most of the time, I find it's disruptive, and admittedly...I can be a little shy. However, I've been trying to push myself out of my shell and I recently found a new way to do it: Dooble.

Dooble is a new app that connects two groups of "doubles" or friends for an, say, talking about books, or getting drinks, or maybe even going to a hedgehog rodeo together (it's a brilliant idea, okay!). Basically, all you do is sign in, pick who you want to meet up with, grab a friend, and head out. Easy but fun, even for people who get a little nervous about these sorts of things. Like, er, me.

I'll keep you all updated on my voyage to meet new people to create a book club with - and if you want to join, feel free to e-mail!
